What is your approach to treatment?
I approach mental health treatment from a holistic perspective - I think it is important to consider all aspects of health, including your physical, spiritual, and emotional well being.
How often will you see me?
This very much depends on the individual, but we generally meet about once a month for the first few months of treatment. After that, we can space out our treatments up to once every three months.
Can my significant other come to the appointment?
Yes! We welcome close supports who wish to come to your appointment. However, we will generally request to speak to the patient individually as well during the appointment.

All of our visits are via tele psychiatry. You will receive a link via email or text prior to your appointment.
Please sign on to your visit 10 minutes early. Please ensure reliable internet connection prior to your appointment - we highly recommend connection to a wireless network and staying in one location during your visit.
You MUST be in the state of New Jersey, Ohio, or Michigan at the time of your appointment in a private location where you can speak freely. You cannot be driving a car. If either of these conditions are not met, we will need to reschedule and you will be charged for the full appointment.
-
Before your first appointment, you will receive required intake forms via email. Please check your spam folder and let us know if you have not received these forms.
This helps us use your time as efficiently as possible during the appointment itself. Your appointment will need to be rescheduled if the paperwork is not received 24 hours prior to your appointment.

We are an “out of network” provider, meaning we do not accept insurance. However, we can provide you with a superbill and many patients have had successful insurance reimbursement with this method! We cannot guarantee what portion of the bill your insurance company will pay, and we do not contact the out of network insurance on your behalf.
Our costs are:
• $375 for an initial intake appointment or one-time consultation (generally about 60-90 minutes).
• $225 for follow-up medication management visits (generally about 15-25 minutes).

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Any arrival after 10 minutes after your appointment’s scheduled start time will be considered a missed appointment and need to be rescheduled and you will be charged for the full appointment. We do understand that emergencies arise, and we will waive the fee for a missed or late cancelled appointment once per year.
If you do not provide at least one business day’s notice for a cancellation or if you miss your appointment without notifying us, you will be charged in full for the appointment. This fee must be paid before scheduling your next appointment.
Repeated cancellations or no shows may necessitate discharge from the practice.

If you have paperwork that you would like Dr. Ross to fill out (such as short term disability forms), please note that the decision to fill out this paperwork is at Dr. Ross’ discretion. An additional appointment may be needed to fill out requested paperwork as well as additional time, so please plan accordingly.
We do not fill out longterm disability forms, custody forms, or forensic evaluations through this practice. We do not fill out paperwork for Emotional Support Animals.

We expect that all staff, patients, and visitors will adhere to basic decency and etiquette throughout their time at Artemis Reproductive Psychiatry. Vulgarity, profanity, disrespect, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may be grounds for discharge from the clinic. Breaches of the code of conduct, the controlled substance policy, or repeated no-shows and late cancellations suggest that our services are not right for you and may result in discharge from the clinic.
